3 area men charged in Internet drug racketeering case

An Internet pharmacy racketeering case that raked in $126 million in illicit prescription drug sales included three North Texas men who operated Web sites, prosecutors say.

A federal judge in Dallas released the three men on bail Friday following their arrest Wednesday.

Philip J. Bidwell, 50, of Frisco, who is accused of operating Web sites and recruiting others to the enterprise, was released on $1 million bail. Jeffrey A. Light, 44, of Heath, and Tracy O. Tyler, 46, of Dallas, both of whom are accused of running affiliated Web sites, were released on $1 million and $500,000 bail, respectively.

David Finn, attorney for Mr. Bidwell, said his client is an Internet marketer who has been unfairly dragged into the case.

"My client helped to provide directions to people traveling on the information superhighway.
