Doris Liz Figueroa, 30, of the 1900 block of Royal Palm Drive, Fort Pierce, was charged with retail theft, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and resisting arrest without violence. The boy later told police he felt bad about taking the pills and said his mother has made him steal in the past, according to the arrest affidavit. The store said Figueroa attempted to steal more than $185 worth of pill bottles.
